 On the last week of the teaching  phase Monday,  since it was a exam day we did not have any morning assembly.  I started the week by teaching them prepositions. On the very next day I conducted achievement test on the portions taught . All of them participated well. Then On Wednesday I distributed the answer sheets and discussed the answers. During the last two days , one day we were asked to help the teachers with the parents meeting.  And On Friday we signed our attendance register and left the school. We successfully completed the teaching phase

  This week started normally with the assembly.  On Monday I continued the poem From a Railway Carriage and completed it. I introduced the new words and poetic devices used in the poem . Then by Tuesday I moved on to the next poem Marvellous travel.  Most of the students loved travelling, so they were interested to study this. I completed the poem by Wednesday.  Then I started teaching Then some grammar portions . I started with definite articles.  Since we had class on Saturday I also taught them verbs .

  This week of the teaching practice started on Wednesday as Monday was a public holiday. And on Tuesday an unexpected holiday was announced due to the demise of former Chief minister Oomen Chandy . Then on Wednesday I started with a fresh new poem We're the World . This was a song by Michael Jackson and students were thrilled to learn it.By Thursday I completed the song . This week we had class on Saturday also due to all the unexpected holidays . The week ended with the starting of a poem From a Railway Carriage. 

   On Monday we had assembly and the class started after it. I continued teaching The Boy Who Drew Cats,by Wednesday I was able to complete the lesson successfully.  I made sure I cleared all their doubts regarding the lesson.  On Thursday I started teaching a new poem Taj Mahal . Most of them were exited for learning a poem . Since it was a small poem by Friday I completed it. 

 This week started with the morning assembly and some valuable advices from the Head mistress.  I continued teaching the chapter The Boy Who Drew Cats.  I prepared all the necessary teaching aids required for the lesson and made the class interesting for the student. The week went as all other normal week .

 The third week of teaching phase started on 26th june. I continued teaching the lesson 'The Mysterious Picture ' . I gave activities and used all the necessary teaching aids. 28th and 29th june were public holidays . I started a new chapter The Boy Who Drew Cats on 30th. Everyone was very curious about the new lesson. We had class on Saturday 1st June also . Thus the third week successfully ended.

 The second week of our teaching phase started on 19th June, National Readers Day. In the school we had a small program related to the day along with the assembly. Some of them were presented with books by the Head mistress. It was good start for the week. Since I started The Mysterious Picture last week I continued the lesson. I used all the necessary teaching aids and made the teaching learning process interesting. I almost covered half of the lesson and gave notes from the completed passages. Thus we completed the second phase of teaching. 

Weekly Reflection - Phase II      As part of our B.Ed Curriculum the fourth semester school internship programme for thirty days started on 14. This time also I got the same school G.V.H.S.S Thattamala, where I had completed the first phase of my teaching practice . There were fourteen of us from our college in which four of us were from English optional. On the first day we met the Head mistress and teachers and they gave us necessary instructions. Separate room was allotted to us. My concerned teacher allotted me eighth standard and I was given division D. I was asked to take Unit 1 Hues and Views.I was really glad that i  got the same teacher as my guide because she gave me lot instructions and corrected my mistakes while teaching . I was assigned to take classes in standard VIIl D. That day I started a new chapter " The Mysterious Picture "and I gave group activities and assignments to them and they did it well. I had completed the first week of my teaching.

  This was the last week of our teaching practice I started The week with the poem First Showers and also taught them grammar . I covered simple present tense and pronoun. I also took a class on alliteration. We conducted the achievement test and collected the answer sheets . Thus our first phase of teaching came to an end. We met the headmistress collected her sign in the register and left the campus. 

    During this week I started my new poem My Grandmother’s House.  I completed it by 2 classes and started the next poem solitude. I made sure I discussed all the poetic devices and rhyme scheme related to the poem.  I also gave them notes as per their teachers request. I completed Solitude by Friday. With that I was able to complete the Unit.

    This week also started with the Merchant of Venice.  Since it is long play with many difficult I did not rush forward. I took small portions everyday and made sure they had no doubts left. I made them do writing activities to improve their writing skills and to check their understanding. I was able to complete the lesson this week.

   I continued the play and made sure they were able to grasp along. I gave them necessary notes as per their teachers advice. I also gave the meaning of new words. I was able to cover the portions according to the lesson plan. The week went smoothly.

    In this week I continued with The Merchant of Venice and did all activities in the text along with it. On 26th we had the republic day celebrations at school. It was very vibrant. On 27th I continued with my lesson . The week ended successfully. 

   On the third week we were all totally comfortable and friendly with our classes which made it easier to take the classes. I continued the lesson The Merchant of Venice and discussed the play through role plays and Activities. Most of them were interested in learning the play. All my classes went along with the lesson plan successfully.

    The second week of the teaching started by teaching the rest of the lesson 'The School for Sympathy' . I taught them many qualities and the importance of these in human life . I gave all the necessary activities and on 12th I completed the lesson . On the last day of the week I started with a new lesson by the golden writer William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice.
