    In this week I continued with The Merchant of Venice and did all activities in the text along with it. On 26th we had the republic day celebrations at school. It was very vibrant. On 27th I continued with my lesson . The week ended successfully. 

16th Jan to 20th Jan

   On the third week we were all totally comfortable and friendly with our classes which made it easier to take the classes. I continued the lesson The Merchant of Venice and discussed the play through role plays and Activities. Most of them were interested in learning the play. All my classes went along with the lesson plan successfully.

9th January to 13th January

    The second week of the teaching started by teaching the rest of the lesson 'The School for Sympathy' . I taught them many qualities and the importance of these in human life . I gave all the necessary activities and on 12th I completed the lesson . On the last day of the week I started with a new lesson by the golden writer William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice. 

PAHSE I

 As part of our B.Ed Curriculum the third semester school internship programme for forty days started on January 2023.  I got the  school G.V.H.S.S Thattamala . There were fourteen of us from our college in which four of us were from English optional. On the first day we met the Head mistress and teachers and they gave us necessary instructions. Separate room was allotted to us. My concerned teacher allotted me eighth standard and I was given division E. I was asked to take Unit 5 .I was really glad that i got an active teacher as my guide because she gave me lot instructions and corrected my mistakes while teaching . I was assigned to take classes in standard VIIl E. That day I started a new chapter " The School for Sympathy"and I gave group activities and assignments to them and they did it well. I had completed the first week of my teaching

Assignment and its Types

 ASSIGNMENT AND ITS TYPES An assignment is a piece of (academic) work or task. It provides opportunity for students to learn, practice and demonstrate they have achieved the learning goals. It provides the evidence for the teacher that the students have achieved the goals. The output can be judged using sensory perception. The assignment can focus on a product as output and a process and the performance of individual skills or competences. There are a lot of benefits to gain from using an assignment as an assessment method. Assignments can for instance be used to test higher cognitive abilities and the application of specific skills or knowledge. It can mirror the future professional practice. It can be used to assess the integration of knowledge, skills and attitudes.                        UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISION     The University Grants Commission of India is a statutory body set up by the Department of Higher Education , Ministry of Education , Government of India in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education . It provides recognition to universities in India, and disbursements of funds to such recognized universities and colleges . The headquarters are in New Delhi , and it has six regional centres in Pune , Bhopal , Kolkata , Hyderabad , Guwahati and Bangalore .
